Mitsubishi Fuso starts free vehicle checkups

The company started offering free checkups on all its 1.3 million vehicles sold across the country, as part of efforts to weather a recall scandal. Mitsubishi Fuso, a former truck and bus division of Mitsubishi Motors Corp. spun off in January 2003, will test 40 basic vehicle functions such as running, turning and stopping, company officials said.
